Why Feng Shui?
Have you ever walked into a home or business and felt instantly comfortable? If so, chances are that you have experienced good Feng Shui!  Donald Trump uses it. Virgin Airlines, the Bank of England and the United Nations embraced it. Even that old hit TV series, Big Brother, employed ideas borrowed from this ancient art. But what, exactly, is Feng Shui? Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement that creates harmony and prosperity in our lives. The Chinese Feng Shui character literally means "wind and water". In Chinese culture, a gentle wind and clear water have always been associated with good harvest and good health, thus "good Feng Shui" came to mean good fortune, while "bad Feng Shui" came to mean hardship and misfortune.
For over four thousand years, Feng Shui practitioners have balanced the relationship between nature and our dwelling spaces. The placement of objects using Feng Shui techniques creates balance and positive energy in our environment and in our lives. Feng Shui seeks to promote prosperity, good health, and general well-being by examining and adjusting how energy, or chi, flows through a particular room, home or building.
